About the Role

We are seeking an experienced GM Plant Operations / Technical Head to lead large-scale manufacturing operations at our Nooriabad facility. This strategic leadership role requires a strong technical background, operational excellence, and the ability to drive performance in continuous process industries.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead and manage all plant operations including Production, Utilities, Engineering & Maintenance, E&I, Inventory, and Compliance
• Ensure continuous production, optimal capacity utilization, and minimal downtime
• Develop and enforce production planning aligned with sales demand

Efficiency & Cost Optimization

• Drive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Monitor and optimize energy and utility consumption to improve operational efficiency

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products consistently meet quality and regulatory standards
• Lead internal and external audits
• Maintain a zero non-conformance culture in quality and safety

Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across the plant
• Ensure compliance with national regulations and sustainability certifications
• Foster a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor

People & Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and develop all factory HODs
• Build strong accountability, KPI, and reporting systems
• Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving

Reporting & Coordination

• Provide weekly and monthly performance dashboards to the CEO
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Sales to align factory output with business goals
• Lead new projects, expansions, and technology upgrades

Qualification & Experience

• BE / ME in Mechanical, Chemical, or Polymer Engineering (MBA preferred)
• 15–25 years of experience in manufacturing industries
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Plant Head, GM Operations, Factory Manager, or Technical Head
• Industry Preference:
• Polyester Fiber / PET Resin / rPSF (Highly Preferred)
• Polymer, Chemical, Petrochemical
• Large-scale textile spinning or other continuous process industries
