Job Summary

The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards. The role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, overseeing maintenance, and driving continuous improvement to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Monitor production performance and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Lead, train, and evaluate factory staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and skill development.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machines and equipment operate at maximum reliability.
• Oversee inventory levels, raw material usage, and production schedules.
• Prepare and present reports related to productivity, quality, and operational challenges.
• Managing the factory’s procurement operations.
• Acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a manufacturing or production management role.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production management software (ERP systems).
