Family Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Assistant to support a busy family, in Southeast Cape Coral, managing daily household routines and caring for children. We are a busy, warm, and down-to-earth family of now four looking for a dependable, proactive person to help keep our home running smoothly and feeling calm each day. We truly value a peaceful, organized home and are hoping to find someone who enjoys creating that kind of environment.

At this stage, our biggest needs are staying on top of laundry, managing daily clutter, and helping reset the home each afternoon. Childcare is minimal and mostly involves being an extra set of supportive hands during after-school transitions.

Responsibilities:

Home Support

• Staying on top of daily clutter. Picking up, putting away, and keeping shared spaces organized
• Family laundry from start to finish
• Light daily cleaning such as wiping counters, vacuuming, and resetting rooms
• Meal prep and simple family-style cooking
• Keeping the kitchen clean and functional

Light Child Support

• Being present with our two girls (ages 12 and 14) during after-school transitions
• Supporting a smooth, structured afternoon
• Assistance with lunches and

Who We’re Hoping to Find

Someone who:

• Is reliable and punctual
• Naturally notices clutter and takes initiative to reset spaces
• Enjoys creating order and calm in a busy home
• Is confident with basic meal prep
• Is friendly, warm and patient around school-age children
• Is comfortable around animals
• Has experience working in private homes
