Family Law Paralegal

PAY AND BENEFITS: The position pays a competitive base salary that is commensurate with experience depending on years of FAMILY LAW experience, paid time off, eligibility for health insurance benefits and 401(k).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: This position is for a Paralegal who has a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in FAMILY LAW.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team.
The Paralegal will provide support to our attorneys and assist with various legal tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and multitasking skills, as well as a solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
- Assist in drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- File and organize legal documents using various document management systems
- Prepare and maintain client case files, both physical and electronic
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court hearings
- Assist in the preparation, reviewing, filing, and service of legal documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing correspondence

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in FAMILY LAW
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using document management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
