F&B Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager with a strong specialization in Banquet and Event Operations. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our resort's event and catering services, ensuring flawless execution, unparalleled guest satisfaction, and continuous revenue growth.

You will lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team to deliver the highest standards of culinary and service excellence for all banquets, meetings, weddings, and special events hosted at the resort.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all event F&B functions from planning and setup to execution and post-event follow-up, ensuring adherence to 5-star quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Events team to design bespoke menus, create compelling event packages, and ensure clear communication regarding client needs.
  • Manage and control the departmental budget, including forecasting, labor costs, and inventory management to optimize profitability.
  • Maintain the highest level of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards across all banquet service areas.

Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of banquet captains, servers, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular service briefings and trainings on luxury service protocols, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
  • Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented environment that prioritizes guest-centric service.

Guest Experience & Quality Control

  • Act as the primary F&B point of contact for high-profile events, ensuring personalized attention and resolving any challenges efficiently and gracefully.
  • Routinely inspect all event spaces and service areas for setup, presentation, and maintenance standards before and during events.
  • Analyze guest feedback and post-event reports to drive continuous service and product improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage management, with at least 3 years specifically managing Banquet/Catering operations in a 5-star hotel, resort, or luxury venue.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing high-volume, high-profile events, including weddings, corporate galas, and large conferences.
  • Exceptional knowledge of fine dining service standards, and modern culinary trends.
  • Proven ability to manage departmental P&L, budget forecasting, and labor control.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant F&B/POS/Events management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • A relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience in menu engineering for high-end banquets.
