Main Duties and Responsibilities:
A-General Management and Operations:
- Oversee all restaurant departments: kitchen, dining area, delivery, preparation, and cleaning.
- Monitor daily restaurant & Cafe operations and ensure smooth workflow in accordance with established plans and policies.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to their assigned roles as defined in the organizational structure and job descriptions.
B- Quality and Customer Service:
- Monitor the quality of meals and beverages and ensure compliance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Handle customer complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and protect the restaurant’s reputation.
- Supervise hospitality standards and the overall customer reception experience.
C- Team Management:
- Monitor employee performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and identify training and development needs.
- Coordinate work schedules and distribute tasks to ensure efficient coverage of all operational shifts.
- Motivate the team and promote teamwork and collaboration.
D- Inventory and Procurement Management:
- Monitor daily inventory levels of raw materials and ensure sufficient stock availability to meet demand.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage purchasing processes in cooperation with the storekeeper, procurement officer, and accountant.
- Monitor waste levels and work on reducing them through improved preparation and storage processes.
F- Financial Control:
- Monitor daily revenues and expenses and work toward achieving the restaurant’s financial targets.
- Supervise collection and payment processes and ensure the accuracy of daily reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts and cost controller to review expenses, particularly meal costs, and analyze profitability.
- Refrain from making any financial decisions without prior written approval from the general manager.
- Ensure the outlets reaches and maintains its break-even point; in case of losses, identify the causes and address them immediately.
G- Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety (hygiene) procedures and the standards required by Qatar municipality regulations.
- Conduct periodic monitoring of the municipality inspection record of the outlets.
- Oversee the implementation of personal hygiene policies, outlets cleanliness, equipment sanitation, and the bathrooms.
H-Innovation and Development:
- Contribute to menu development in coordination with the general manager.
- Provide suggestions to improve service levels and customer experience.
- Monitor competitors business in Qatari market.
- Follow up on advertising and promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing department.
- Propose sales enhancement initiatives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR11,000.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month
