The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion. This includes managing client relationships, budgets, timelines, vendors, and internal teams to ensure each event is delivered successfully, creatively, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of events including corporate, government, and private functions.
  • Create detailed event proposals, concepts, and timelines aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate logistics such as venue setup, décor, catering, entertainment, and permits.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring smooth event delivery and client satisfaction.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after the event.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable event plans.
  • Manage expectations and maintain professional relationships to encourage repeat business.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to secure the best rates and quality.
  • Track expenses and provide post-event financial reports.

4. Team Coordination

  • Lead and supervise internal event teams, freelancers, and on-site staff.
  • Coordinate with design, production, marketing, and logistics departments for seamless execution.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with teams.

5. Marketing & Business Development

  • Support the sales team with creative event proposals and presentations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to company growth.
  • Assist in developing marketing content and social media materials for event promotions.

6. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance are obtained for events.
  • Maintain health, safety, and risk management standards.
  • Prepare detailed post-event reports and evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event management (preferably in the UAE).
  • Strong network of vendors and event industry contacts.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for events as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
