Position Overview
The HR & Payroll Assistant Specialist supports day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on payroll processing, employee data management, and administrative coordination. The role requires high accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to ensure smooth HR and payroll functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
- Verify biometric attendance records and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure salary payments are accurate and aligned with company policies and Qatar Labour Law.
- Maintain employee payroll files and ensure data accuracy.
HR Operations & Administration
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities (screening, scheduling interviews, documentation).
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and clearance forms.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle leave management, employee requests, NOCs, and related HR documents.
- Coordinate with PRO regarding visas, renewals, IDs, and related government formalities.
- Prepare HR reports, memos, and letters as required.
Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure HR documentation complies with company policies and Qatar Labour Law.
- Support disciplinary processes by preparing warning letters, memos, and incident documentation.
- Assist employees with HR-related inquiries professionally and promptly.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR or payroll, preferably in Qatar.
- Experience with payroll systems, attendance software, or HRIS is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Familiarity with payroll calculations (OT, leave salary, EOSB).
- Good understanding of Qatar Labour Law (preferred but not mandatory).
