Location: North Carolina Preferred (Hybrid Options Available)
Reports To: CEO

Role Summary
We are seeking a disciplined, hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to own the financial operations of our Management Services Organization (MSO). This role will oversee full-cycle accounting for a multi-site gastroenterology practice, including three clinical locations and an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The ideal candidate will ensure financial integrity, maintain accurate reporting, and provide critical insights into cash flow, collections, and operational performance.

Work Arrangement

  • North Carolina-based candidates are preferred to support occasional on-site collaboration.
  • Hybrid flexibility is available for candidates with proven experience managing multi-site healthcare finances independently.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Month 1: Transition all accounts payable and payroll functions; complete full reconciliation of prior month deposits against billing reports.
  • Month 2: Streamline month-end close process; deliver accurate entity-level financials by the 10th of each month.
  • Month 3: Develop a Financial Health Dashboard tracking cash flow, vendor spend, and accounts receivable trends.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Management & Full-Cycle Accounting

  • Manage general ledger, including A/P, A/R, and journal entries across all entities.
  • Execute timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage forecasts, and oversee intercompany transactions.

Revenue Reconciliation & A/R Monitoring

  • Reconcile billing system reports with bank deposits for both professional and facility revenue.
  • Monitor A/R aging and identify collection risks or payer trends.
  • Serve as liaison with outsourced billing partners to resolve discrepancies.

Payroll & Operations

  • Manage payroll processing, benefits accounting, and tax filings.
  • Oversee vendor payments and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Track provider productivity and support physician compensation calculations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred).
  • 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Experience in healthcare, ASC, or multi-site operations is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to financial accuracy.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
