Hiring: Finance & Accounts Manager – Fire Systems Industry
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to join our team in the UAE. As a key leader in our fire systems installation and maintenance company, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial landscape—from day-to-day accounting to high-level strategic financial planning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project-based accounting and a deep understanding of the UAE financial regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure clarity in our operations, the role is divided into two core functions:
1. Accounting Functions (Operational)
- General Ledger: Oversee and maintain accurate and complete records of all financial transactions.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee and manage the invoicing process for installations and AMCs; oversee collections and aging reports.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee and process vendor payments, reconcile supplier statements, and manage company expenses.
- Payroll & HR Coordination: Oversee and process monthly payroll through WPS and manage EOSB (End of Service Benefits) provisions.
- Tax Compliance: Handle UAE VAT registration, quarterly filings, and ensure compliance with Corporate Tax regulations.
- Audit Management: Facilitate and lead the annual external audit process.
2. Finance Functions (Strategic)
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds for project-based procurement and operations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management review.
- Project Costing: Analyze the profitability of fire system installation projects and provide variance reports (Budget vs. Actual).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and provide financial insights to support business growth.
- Banking Relations: Manage relationships with banks, including facility management, LCs, and bank guarantees for projects.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial policies to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must meet these criteria to be considered:
- Education: A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in the UAE, preferably within Construction, MEP, or Fire Safety sectors.
- Location: Currently based in the UAE.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in ERP software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, SAP, or Odoo) and Microsoft Excel.
- Expert knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for non-finance managers.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
