Finance Assistant

RS Welfare Foundation, with the support of its donors, is initiating emergency flood relief operations to support affected communities in Tehsil Zafarwal UC Darman. The project aims to provide immediate relief assistance, including food, shelter, health support, and other essential services, to flood-affected populations.

The Finance Assistant will ensure effective financial management of the flood relief operations, supporting compliance with donor requirements and RS Welfare Foundation’s financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for all project expenditures.
• Prepare vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents for financial transactions.
• Ensure timely disbursement of payments in line with approved budgets.
• Support budget tracking and financial reporting for the donor and management.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Support procurement processes as per organizational policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Familiarity with donor-funded project financial management preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, accounting software).
• Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Project Manager and works in close coordination with RS Welfare Foundation Finance Department.
