Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of expertise in the Accounting & Finance field to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing financial transactions, reconciliations, cash management, and possess hands-on experience in various financial processes.
Financial Transaction Support:
- Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Help perform reconciliations of financial data, including daily, monthly, and yearly transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations:
- Support bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Assist in vendor analysis to optimize vendor relationships and expenses.
Invoice Processing:
- Aid in processing invoices efficiently, from initial data entry to obtaining necessary approvals and monitoring timely payments.
- Address any discrepancies or issues with invoices promptly and professionally.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Record and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that outstanding balances are managed effectively
1099 Contractors Workings:
- Review weekly delivery orders completed by independent contractors and process their payments accurately and on time, ensuring proper 1099 documentation, compliance, and record-keeping for year-end reporting.
Support for Finance Team:
- Assist the Finance Manager and team with special projects and tasks as required, providing valuable insights and analysis.
Financial Software Proficiency:
- Utilize accounting and financial software to manage financial data and generate reports.
- Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements of financial software tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the Accounting & Finance field.
- Proficiency in financial software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
