Virtelligence Inc. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance & HR Manager to lead our financial operations and HR functions for U.S.-based operations.
This is a dual-impact leadership role ideal for someone who can confidently manage end-to-end accounting in QuickBooks, ensure financial accuracy and compliance, and oversee structured HR operations in a fast-paced, international environment.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will take ownership of:
- Full-cycle accounting and financial management
- Financial reporting and reconciliations
- U.S. payroll coordination and compliance (preferred)
- HR operations, documentation, and policy implementation
This position requires strong analytical thinking, high confidentiality standards, and the ability to manage finance and HR responsibilities with precision.
Core Responsibilities Finance & Accounting (Primary Focus)
- Manage daily accounting operations in QuickBooks (mandatory expertise)
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
- Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting structures
U.S. Payroll Management (Strong Advantage)
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Maintain payroll records, deductions, and benefits
- Support federal and state payroll tax compliance
- Work with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity (preferred)
- Assist with multi-state payroll processing
Human Resources Management
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation
- Maintain HR compliance and employee records
- Support performance management and HR policy execution
- Coordinate employee benefits and handle employee relations matters
- Develop and update HR policies aligned with business needs
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in Finance & Accounting management
- Practical experience managing HR operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation expertise
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Preferred (Plus Points)
- Experience in U.S. payroll processing
- Knowledge of federal & state payroll tax regulations
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies
- Multi-state payroll knowledge
- Certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, SHRM, or PHR
