Finance Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION

HealthPartners is hiring for a full-time Finance Intern for the summer of 2026.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Current enrollment (or recent graduation) in a college or graduate degree program

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Verbal and/or written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask. Problem-solving skills and ability to work with confidential information

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses

 Analyze healthcare cost trends, claims data, and operational expenses

 Support month-end and quarter-end close processes

 Help maintain financial models and spreadsheets

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuarial, operations, and compliance

 Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and reimbursement models

 Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership review

 Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned
