Job Title: Finance Manager

Reports to: Managing Director
Job Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial health by managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and deep knowledge of finance, taxation, and corporate laws.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for business decisions.
2. Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, ROC filings, etc.).
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage cash flow to meet operational requirements.
- Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships.
- Review and approve vendor payments and collections strategy.
4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems.
- Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Prevent and detect financial fraud or irregularities.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise the finance team.
- Ensure timely completion of finance-related tasks by the team.
- Build a culture of accuracy, integrity, and accountability.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounts, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in manufacturing / trading / service industries preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and corporate compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
