JD: Finance Manager
The Financial Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring effective financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, preferably within the manufacturing of jewelry industry.
Job Description
- Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO.
- Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
- Analyze company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets.
- Issue regular status and reports to senior management and CEO.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
- Manage cash flow, optimizing working capital and ensuring sufficient liquidity.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Maintaining registers on Debtors, Creditors & expenses sheets as well as other statements for analysis of the profitability position.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and financial strategies.
- Management of cash flow and distribution of funds in critical financial situations.
- Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
- Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
- Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies.
- Administering maintenance of books of accounts, inclusive of P&L account balance sheet and trial balance with the finalization of year end accounts.
- preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, credit control, profitability etc.
- Conducting statutory audits / internal audits for analyzing existing systems for proposing improvisation measures.
- Identifying frauds / misrepresentation in books of accounts & drafting a final audit report containing details about deviations & recommendations.
- Conducting risk analysis & providing valuable proposition to the top management to minimize risk levels monitoring expenses & ensuring that they adhere to budgetary parameters.
- Responsible for Income Tax authorities for timely filling of TDS, Income Tax and Sales Tax returns, GST, Service Tax, Tax assessments, exemption related benefits registrations.
- Coordinating with government officials, company secretary, Internal Audits, statutory Audits and other regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with norms.
- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
- Assist and supports upper-level management to ensure sound financial decision making that is in the long-term best interest of the organizational mission.
- Sustaining stringent control over outlay & periodic reconciliation to ensure proper employment of funds.
- Business Strategy in discussion with the Top Management, Preparation of action plans and ensure their implementation.
- Discuss with Management on the Future Business Plans, work out strategies and implement.
- Preparation of yearly budgets, with inputs from other departments, finalize the same with Top Management. Monthly review, analyze the variances and advise on course of action.
- Responsible for managing the organization's taxation affairs which include optimizing the organization's tax compliance through reviewing tax provisions and identifying areas of opportunities while managing tax liability.
- Provides advice on tax implications for proposed transactions such as assets disposal and ensures that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax etc.
- Verifies the statements related to tax - Income tax, Income tax returns, TDS, TCS, GST, office Rent are accurate & filed on time and is compliant to the latest regulatory norms & policies.
- Liaison with legal consultants in respect of pending litigation/follow-up of notices etc. Preparation of SOPs by using established frameworks and implements the related systems and processes to ensure that all financials are managed well to ensure data integrity.
- Ensuring that the audits are conducted as per schedule and reports submitted, follow-up action to be done.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in manufacturing or jewelry sectors.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
