Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our growing team. The role will be based in Pakistan and aligned to the US time zone, serving all entities within the Group. The Finance Manager will be responsible for end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong controls across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a critical role for a candidate with strong financial accounting and reporting expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

· Oversee all aspects of month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

· Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments are properly recorded.

· Prepare and review management reports, consolidated financials, and performance dashboards for senior management.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

· Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

· Implement processes to optimize working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and payment cycles.

· Ensure compliance with Group policies on procurement, vendor management, and credit control.

Financial Planning & Analysis

· Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections across all entities.

· Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.

· Partner with business units to evaluate financial performance, ROI, and cost optimization opportunities.

Compliance & Tax

· Ensure timely filing of Tax and other statutory requirements in Pakistan and other relevant jurisdictions.

· Liaise with tax advisors and consultants to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

· Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team to ensure operational efficiency and professional growth.

· Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures across entities.

· Drive automation, process improvement, and system enhancements to scale finance operations effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.

· Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and reporting. Prior experience in audit or corporate finance is highly desirable.

· Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, and tax compliance.

· Proven track record in month-end closing, financial planning, and management reporting.

· Experience in managing multi-entity, cross-border finance operations is a strong plus.

· Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Power BI), and reporting tools.
