Finance Manager

Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing daily accounting activities, supervising financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning to promote effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring efficient workflow and performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CA or equivalent preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting or finance management roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
