Meethi Zindagi is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes across Pakistan. We focus on awareness, education, medical & peer support, and advocacy to empower individuals and families for better health and well-being.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Finance to join our team and support our financial operations as we continue to grow.

Position Overview:
The Accounts & Finance Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and supporting budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, reconciling budgets, financial reports, and grant proposals in compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, payroll, and financial documentation.
• Monitor fund allocations and assist in financial audits and internal controls.
• Collaborate with program teams to provide financial insights and support effective resource planning.

Qualifications:

• Minimun 3 years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably in the nonprofit or healthcare sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CA-Inter/ICMA is a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, tax laws, and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
