- Monitor daily cash flow positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
- Prepare cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term)
- Optimize cash utilization and manage working capital efficiently
- Oversee fund transfers, disbursements, and collections
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Manage bank accounts, credit facilities, and financing arrangements
- Negotiate banking terms, charges, and credit lines
- Review and authorize payments in line with company policies
- Ensure proper documentation and approval workflows for all financial transactions
- Strengthen internal controls related to treasury operations
- Prepare treasury reports, cash position reports, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies
- Support audits by providing required treasury documentation
- Identify and mitigate financial risks (liquidity, currency, interest rate)
- Monitor exposure to foreign exchange and recommend hedging strategies (if applicable)
- Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide insights on cash planning and funding requirements
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CFA – part-qualified or qualified preferred)
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in treasury or finance
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and cash management
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent command of MS Excel and financial systems (ERP experience preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
