Financial Analyst – Billing Operations Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $32 -$35.54/hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Analyst to support billing readiness activities for North America Field Service operations. This role is responsible for validating job completion, reviewing customer authorizations, correcting cost posting errors, and ensuring service orders are accurately prepared for billing.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, billing or accounting experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate completion of jobs for billing readiness
• Review customer authorizations and service order/project closures
• Verify and correct cost postings as needed
• Set completed jobs to “Ready to Bill” status
• Communicate with field offices regarding job status and billing issues
• Monitor open orders daily and support month-end activities
• Process corrections and updates efficiently
• Assist with customer disputes and provide status updates
• Meet established productivity and performance metrics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within billing operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional business environment
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Experience in job costing, accounting, or customer service
• HVAC service industry experience preferred
• Experience with ServiceMax, Salesforce, and SAP
• Strong financial and process analysis skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence

Additional Details

• Hybrid schedule: 2 remote days and 3 in-office days per week
• Heavy workload expected during the last week of the month and quarter
• Office Location: Charlotte, NC
