Position Summary

The Financial Controller serves as a key business partner to executive leadership and operational managers, providing financial guidance that drives business decisions and operational success. This role oversees FP&A activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives across the OnCare business.

The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, process-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced industrial services environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
  • Partner with leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Analyze profitability, margins, and business performance trends
  • Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and operational efficiencies
  • Manage fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, treasury guidelines, and internal controls
  • Serve as Compliance Officer for supported business units
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and controlling team members

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial controlling or financial management
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical service environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, and FP&A
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred; SAP is a plus)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for process improvement
  • Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods working at a desk and computer
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
