Finishing Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to oversee and manage all finishing activities on construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising finishing works, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all finishing works, including plastering, painting, tiling, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, waterproofing, joinery, aluminum, glazing, and other architectural finishes.
• Ensure all finishing works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues during finishing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and HSE regulations.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices.
• Coordinate material requirements and minimize material wastage.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, and work schedules.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and site cleanliness throughout the project.
• Carry out snagging and de-snagging works before project handover.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
• Ensure timely completion of punch list items.
• Assist in the successful handover of completed projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ITI, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finishing Foreman in building construction projects.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and finishing details.
• Familiarity with local construction practices and safety regulations.
