Job Description:

Project Manager with experience in several fields, such as Architectural and Civil Renovation, Maintenance, Facility Management, Interior Design, Fit-outs, and Turnkey Projects. Have managed projects in various buildings, including government, commercial, healthcare, education, religious, office, retail, showroom, restaurant, coffee shop, and residential buildings. Has experience in managing the project site and all the aspects that come with it, including identifying scope, planning, procurement, production, design, communication, cost, time, risk, project, human resources, project handing over, and closing out. Planning for all the projects, controlling all the execution phases of the projects, and coordinating with client, consultant, Our company engineers, Site Forman’s, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with client, consultant, architects, engineers and other technical workers to ensure that design & works intentions are met.
  • Ensuring that the client requirements are within our scope of operation and reviewing our ability to meet customer requirements.
  • Planning and scheduling the execution of the projects and updating the progress reports.
  • Planning projects activities and ensuring clients requirements are fulfilled.
  • Preparation of cost estimates, bill of quantities and the documentation for work order.
  • Preparing projects program of work based on activities, drawings, and duration needed.
  • Coordinating with client, consultant, Our company engineers, Site Forman’s, and subcontractors.
  • Reviewing project documents (specifications, drawings, and ensure if it includes detailed bill of quantities).
  • Following up the quotations and supportive technical data from the suppliers and subcontractors and ensures that they meet client requirements.
  • Supervising the preparation of the submittals of the materials and shop drawings for submitting for all projects.
  • Progress reporting, approving and following up with client, consultant and subcontractors.
  • Reviewing Quality of work executed in the project before inspection.
  • Procurement of civil items needed on the work site in coordination with Purchasing in Charge.
  • Preparing invoices/ payment and BOQ / estimates for project.
  • Following up with client, consultant, for expediting the payments.
  • Reviewing and approving the subcontractors and suppliers’ invoices.
  • Supervising sites and direct site Engineers and subcontractors to ensure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained.
  • Researching and advice on the best engineering solution to meet with a client's needs and budget.
  • Coordinating the supply of labor and materials.
  • Ensuring that client, consultant & gov. regulations and standards are enforced in building operations.
  • Adhering to the safety requirements of the project.
  • Reviewing and editing shop drawings & details.
  • Implementing the inspection and testing plan on site for the project.

  • Handling any other related responsibility as assigned by Projects Director & GM.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • PMP Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in construction.
  • At least 5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects in UAE/GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out works (joinery, MEP coordination, finishes, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, etc.).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
