Professional Requirements
Technical Expertise & Experience
- Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years specifically focused on high-end interior fit-outs (Commercial, Retail, or Luxury Residential).
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in budget management, including cost estimation, value engineering, and managing project .
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local building codes, health and safety regulations (OSHA/HSE), and fire safety requirements.
Software & Tools
- Project Scheduling: Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software.
- Design Literacy: Ability to interpret and critique architectural blueprints, MEP drawings, and detailed joinery shop drawings.
- Daily Management: Experience using project management platforms like Procore, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam for RFI and submittal tracking.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Subcontractor Management: Proven ability to source, vet, and manage diverse trades (joinery, MEP, flooring, and glazing) while maintaining strict quality control.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Excellent communication skills for interfacing with high-profile clients, landlords, and design consultants.
- Quality Obsession: A "snag-free" mindset with a sharp eye for finishes, ensuring that the final handover meets the highest aesthetic standards.
- Certifications: Professional certification such as PMP, Prince2, or RICS is highly desirable.
