Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate fleet operations and logistics activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient transportation of goods, while maintaining vehicle compliance and operational safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily fleet operations including vehicle allocation, routing, and dispatch planning
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely distribution of products (e.g., flour, wheat, and related goods)
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for smooth logistics flow
- Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all vehicles are compliant with UAE transport regulations and safety standards
- Manage driver schedules, attendance, and performance
- Handle vehicle servicing, repairs, and insurance renewals
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, expenses, and logistics reports
- Optimize routes and reduce transportation costs using efficient planning
- Liaise with external transport vendors when required
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet or logistics management (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing)
- Knowledge of UAE road regulations and transport compliance
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics tracking systems
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in food manufacturing or milling industry
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Ability to handle multiple deliveries and time-sensitive operations
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
