Fleet & Logistics Officer - FMCG Distribution

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate fleet operations and logistics activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient transportation of goods, while maintaining vehicle compliance and operational safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily fleet operations including vehicle allocation, routing, and dispatch planning
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely distribution of products (e.g., flour, wheat, and related goods)
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for smooth logistics flow
• Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure all vehicles are compliant with UAE transport regulations and safety standards
• Manage driver schedules, attendance, and performance
• Handle vehicle servicing, repairs, and insurance renewals
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, expenses, and logistics reports
• Optimize routes and reduce transportation costs using efficient planning
• Liaise with external transport vendors when required

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in fleet or logistics management (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing)
• Knowledge of UAE road regulations and transport compliance
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics tracking systems
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in food manufacturing or milling industry
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
• Ability to handle multiple deliveries and time-sensitive operations

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
