We are looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain our fleet of heavy machinery and vehicles. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, forklifts, mixers, generators, trucks, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Ensure efficient repair, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain maintenance records and schedules
- Coordinate with suppliers for parts and technical support
- Ensure equipment safety, reliability, and minimum downtime
- Manage workshop team and daily operations
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in heavy machinery maintenance
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagnose problems accurately
- Experience in fleet management is an advantage
- Good communication & reporting skills
