Fleet Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage and coordinate all aspects of our company vehicles, including cars and trucks. This role is responsible for ensuring our fleet operates efficiently, is well-maintained, and aligns with our operational needs and stock availability. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be a great communicator, and be able to coordinate with various internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling, dispatch, and utilization of company vehicles in line with operational and stock movement requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance schedules, registration, insurance, and inspections.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, sales, procurement) to ensure timely and effective stock deliveries and pickups.
  • Monitor vehicle conditions and schedule regular servicing, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  • Track and manage fuel usage, mileage logs, and driver assignments.
  • Support compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with external service providers (repair shops, leasing companies, etc.) as needed.
  • Assist in preparing fleet reports, including cost analysis and performance tracking.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly equipped and maintained to meet safety and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
