Fleet supervisor

The client is looking for a Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of the company’s vehicle fleet. This role ensures that all vehicles are properly maintained, drivers are effectively managed, and transport operations run smoothly in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily fleet operations including vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and routing.

Monitor driver performance, attendance, and adherence to safety standards.

Ensure all vehicles undergo regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

Maintain accurate fleet records including registration, insurance, fuel consumption, and mileage tracking.

Coordinate with workshops and service providers for timely maintenance and repairs.

Implement cost-control measures for fuel, maintenance, and spare parts.

Ensure compliance with transport regulations, traffic laws, and health & safety standards.

Prepare regular reports on fleet utilization, downtime, and operational efficiency.

Support recruitment, training, and development of drivers.

Address and resolve transport-related issues to minimize delays and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field (preferred).

2–10 years of experience in fleet or transport supervision.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, transport regulations, and logistics operations.

Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.

Based in or willing to relocate to Al Kharj.
