- Exception Management: Swiftly identify and escalate transit anomalies, coordinating directly with dispatch and warehouse teams to resolve exceptions.
2. Recovery, Compliance & Inventory Reconciliation
- Turnaround Compliance: Track trailer arrivals across Metro warehouses and ensure device removal occurs within our strict 2-hour compliance window.
- Escalation Management: Proactively follow up on late or missing returns, escalating non-compliance directly to warehouse and operations leadership.
- Loss Prevention: Take charge of shrinkage control, ensuring the device shrinkage rate remains below our strict company target of <1%.
- Auditing: Maintain an accurate inventory tracker of devices (In Transit, On Hand per warehouse, and Under Investigation) and conduct thorough weekly reconciliation audits.
- Investigation: Investigate and document lost device incidents, coordinating the internal chargeback process when required.
3. Strategy & Operational Excellence
- Daily Communication: Maintain and follow up on daily operational emails, communicating seamlessly with hub managers to understand regional workloads and operational schedules.
- SOP Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to GPS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all 43 warehouses.
- Process Improvement: Conduct periodic compliance reviews, identify process gaps, and recommend data-backed corrective actions.
- Training Support: Support and facilitate training initiatives for warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth logistics flows.
- Business Growth: Collaborate closely with other internal departments to build coordinated plans that support long-term business growth.
4. KPI Reporting & Analytics
- Dashboard Management: Maintain the Executive GPS Dashboard to track key business metrics.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate critical metrics including Load Visibility %, Return Compliance %, Average Return Time, and Device Utilization %.
- Reporting: Develop, update, and publish the Daily T&T (Track & Trace) Report alongside routine carrier performance analyses.
