Floor Incharge Male--LAHORE (DAE Mechanical Diploma/ B-Tech)

Reports To: Production Manager / Production Director

Job Purpose:

To supervise, coordinate, and monitor all activities on the production floor related to mechanical processes, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to quality standards, achievement of production targets, issuance of material on the production floor, and training to the machine operator to reduce rework, rejection and for quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and oversee daily mechanical production activities.

Ensure machines, equipment, and workforce are effectively utilized to meet production targets.

Monitor workflow and adjust processes to eliminate bottlenecks

Supervise machine operators, technicians, and production staff on the floor

Assign duties, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Conduct on-the-job training for workers on mechanical processes and safe machine handling.

Ensure that all products are manufactured in line with company quality standards.

Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to resolve product non-conformities

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize mechanical processes.

Report mechanical breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance department for timely repairs

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime

Enforce safety rules and use of PPE on the shop floor.

Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and environmental regulations

Monitor housekeeping and 5S practices on the production floor.

Prepare daily production reports and update management on progress against targets.

Maintain production logs, downtime reports, and manpower records

Qualification:

· DAE Mechanical/ B-Tech Diploma

· 2 – 3 years hands-on quality and production-related experience in any metal fabrication/ manufacturing industry of which at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
