Production Supervisor – Bridal Couture

Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:
- Supervise the end-to-end production of bridal couture garments, from sampling to final delivery.
- Ensure timely completion of bridal orders according to the production calendar and client deadlines.
- Team Supervision:
- Manage and coordinate teams of artisans including tailors, embroiderers (adda work), fabricators, and finishers.
- Ensure labor productivity, discipline, and adherence to company standards.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor every stage of production to ensure quality craftsmanship, including embroidery detailing, stitching precision, and final finishing.
- Conduct final inspections to approve garments before delivery or dispatch.
- Material Coordination:
- Collaborate with the design and procurement teams to ensure availability of fabrics, embellishments, and other materials on time.
- Track material usage and reduce wastage.
- Client Customization Handling:
- Work closely with designers and client service teams to ensure custom bridal pieces meet client expectations.
- Handle last-minute alterations or changes while ensuring quality and deadline compliance.
- Workflow Planning & Documentation:
- Prepare daily/weekly production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of production progress, workforce attendance, and quality issues.
- Collaboration with Designers:
- Interpret design sketches and translate them into workable production guidelines.
- Offer technical suggestions to improve the design's manufacturability.
- Cost & Resource Management:
- Optimize production costs without compromising on quality.
- Manage vendor or freelance artisans if work is outsourced.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure workplace safety standards and ethical labor practices in line with Pakistani labor laws.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Training & Development:
- Train junior staff on couture production techniques and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with new methods in hand embroidery, fabric handling, and finishing.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bridal or high-end fashion production.
- Strong knowledge of Eastern bridal embroidery techniques (zardozi, gota, resham, dabka, etc.).
- Effective communication and team leadership skills.
- Fluency in Urdu; basic English for documentation is a plus.
