Floral Designer

PETALS is seeking an experienced Floral Designer with a flexible schedule . Must be available on Saturday and for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day holidays.

PETALS is a floral events and retail business located in Brentwood, CA. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to provide elegant custom floral arrangements to our customers . We specialize in day-to-day arrangements, weddings, funerals and special events. We are seeking an experienced floral designer that can work in our Brentwood flower shop and assist with flower arrangement orders, and special events.

About the Role:

• Design floral arrangements in accordance with requirements.
• Create and design window displays for the shop.
• Help open the shop on scheduled mornings and work most Saturdays
• Work the POS system to facilitate sale transactions.
• Be available and willing to travel to deliver flowers for weddings and special events
• Assist with cleaning the flower shop and flower cooler.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of professional floral design in a retail & event setting.

Available mornings and Saturdays a must.

Ability to lift 40 lbs and be on your feet during the shift.

Comfortable working quickly and independently without sacrificing quality.

Strong, confident design skills (centerpieces, bouquets, and installations.)

Job Types:Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
