Forklift Operator / Forklifter (Must Have Certification / Valid License)

Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse, factory, or site. The role ensures proper material handling while maintaining safety standards and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to load, unload, transport, and stack materials
• Handle raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and containers
• Ensure proper storage and placement of materials in designated areas
• Perform daily inspection of forklift and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate material movement records (manual or system-based)
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and site regulations
• Assist in loading/unloading vehicles and containers
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work area
• Support stock verification and inventory activities when required

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Middle / Matric (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator License / Certification (mandatory)
• 1–3 years of experience as a forklift operator in warehouse, factory, or industrial environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and load handling

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to operate diesel/electric forklifts
• Good understanding of weight limits and balance
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
• Physically fit and safety conscious
• Team player with good communication skills

Working Conditions

• Warehouse / factory / outdoor site environment
• Shift-based duty as per operational requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
