Job Description – Freight Broker (US Sales)

Position Type: Full-time, Night Shift (US Process)
Salary Range: 15,000 - 30,000

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Freight Broker (US Sales) to join our client's logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong carrier and customer relationships, negotiating competitive freight rates, and ensuring efficient movement of shipments across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with shippers and carriers in the US market.
• Prospect and onboard new clients through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability.
• Track shipments, resolve issues, and provide real-time updates to clients.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and invoices.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Freight Broker or in US Sales (logistics)
• Strong understanding of the US freight industry, transportation, and carrier networks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, load boards, and MS Office.
• Willingness to work US shift hours.

Preferred Skills

• Existing customer or carrier database is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Truckload, LTL, Flatbed, Reefer, and Intermodal shipments.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
