Freight broker

Job Role: We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Freight Broker to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Freight Broker, you will serve as the intermediary between customers and carriers, ensuring that both parties’ needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Broker freight loads by connecting shippers with carriers and arranging transportation services.
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while maintaining profitability for the company.
• Coordinate shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable carriers to ensure capacity and service quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving shipment-related issues.
• Monitor the progress of shipments and ensure they remain on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Accurately complete all required shipping documentation, including contracts and invoices.

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and carriers.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to juggle multiple shipments and priorities.
• Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹21,471.84 - ₹40,000.00 per month
