The French Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, while maintaining a strong focus on team development and morale. The ideal candidate will be a fluent French speaker with a proven track record of effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management and Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals (e.g., customer service representatives, technical support agents, project coordinators, etc.).
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
    • Set clear goals and objectives for team members and track their progress.
    • Develop and implement training programs to upskill the team.
    • Handle team recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
    • Resolve conflicts and address any team-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure team targets are met.
    • Ensure all team activities comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Serve as a point of contact for complex issues or escalations.
    • Prepare and present performance reports to management.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Communication:
    • Act as the primary liaison between the team and other departments or stakeholders.
    • Facilitate effective and clear communication within the team.
    • Ensure all team members are well-informed about company updates, goals, and changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Fluent in both written and spoken French (native or near-native proficiency is often required).
    • A high level of proficiency in English is also typically required, especially in international companies.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Previous experience in a managerial or team lead position is essential.
    • Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., call center, IT, finance, etc.) is often a strong preference.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
