Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the vibrant face of our establishment, welcoming guests with enthusiasm and ensuring their experience is nothing short of exceptional. Your role is pivotal in creating a warm atmosphere that reflects our commitment to outstanding hospitality. You will manage front desk operations, assist with guest inquiries, and provide top-notch customer service that leaves a lasting impression.

What you’ll do

  • Greet and check in guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a smooth arrival experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, responding to calls with impeccable phone etiquette and professionalism.
  • Process reservations and maintain accurate records of guest information and preferences.
  • Conduct night audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and resort amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Uphold guest relations by creating memorable interactions that encourage repeat visits.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel experience or a background in hospitality management is preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in all interactions.
