Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent who is capable of providing excellent customer service to our guests. This position requires basic computer and administrative skills and a passion for cultivating relationships with guests.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality (preferred)
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., PEP) is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage various guest requests
  • Proficiency in computers, including email and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) is a plus
  • Basic phone system knowledge and reservation handling
  • Accuracy in processing payments, recording guest information, and maintaining logs
  • Strong organizational skills for check-ins/outs and room assignments
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ability to resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to work effectively with other hotel staff (housekeeping, maintenance, management)
  • Neat, professional appearance and adherence to the company dress code
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Regularly monitor and maintain a clean, and welcoming lobby area
  • Ensure that lobby furniture, floors, and surfaces are tidy and organized
  • Report any cleanliness issues to housekeeping or management

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
