Front Desk Agent/PBX Operator

Shephard's Beach Resort, located on beautiful Clearwater Beach, is now hiring a Front Desk Agent/PBX Operator to join our team in ensuring excellent customer service and making each guest's experience more memorable.

Ideal candidate will be friendly with a pleasant personality. Must possess excellent customer service skills and an excellent phone etiquette. Must be able to multitask, handle high volume, work well with a team and professionally handle any situation that may arise.

Front Desk Agent - welcoming guests, checking guests in and out, keeping guests informed of all in-house events as well as local area attractions, making reservations for future stays and accommodating walk-ins. Other job duties include but are not limited to assisting managers with daily administrative tasks and projects, keeping the office and lobby area neat and clean and assisting guests with their needs.

PBX - qualifying and transferring calls, taking detailed messages and answering general information questions about our resort. Other job duties include but are not limited to taking reservations for our restaurant, entering service orders into task management software, conducting daily courtesy calls after guest check ins, assisting guests with their needs and assisting managers with daily administrative tasks and projects.

Previous experience working in the hospitality industry and answering a multiline switchboard is required. Previous experience with Opera, HotSOS and OpenTable is preferred. Must possess ability to utilize a two way radio. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Physical Requirements Include: long hours sitting and/or long hours on your feet standing.
