Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Hospital Receptionist to manage our front desk operations. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently handling administrative and communication tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
  • Maintain patient records and update information accurately
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments
  • Manage billing inquiries and direct patients accordingly
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and follow proper protocols

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or front desk representative (hospital/clinic preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software is a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare or medical administration
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
