Front Desk Worker

Position Summary
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and energetic environment for all members and guests at Snap Fitness. This role serves as the first point of contact for the gym and plays an important part in delivering excellent customer service, supporting membership growth, maintaining club cleanliness, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person questions about memberships, services, and club policies
  • Assist with membership sales, tours, and new member sign-ups
  • Check in members and ensure a positive front desk experience
  • Handle member concerns, questions, and basic problem-solving in a timely and professional way
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and common gym areas
  • Support club promotions, events, and marketing efforts
  • Help enforce gym rules and safety standards
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, appointment scheduling, and member account updates
  • Promote personal training, recovery services, and other club offerings when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive during slower periods
  • Comfortable with sales conversations and promoting memberships/services
  • Basic computer and administrative skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in health, fitness, and helping others is preferred
  • Previous customer service, sales, or gym experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift light items and assist with basic cleaning duties
  • Comfortable working in an active fitness environment

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
