Qualifications

· Previous experience in a senior leadership role required.

· Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.

· University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Lead and manage the day to day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping and Recreation ensuring all service standards are followed.
  • Prepare annual budgets and administer in a fiscally responsible manner
  • To ensure achievement of Guest Satisfaction Index, quality standards and Employee engagement survey scores set by the Resort.
  • Focus on Online Reputation Management (Trip Advisor, ReviewPro, Booking.com)
  • Lead and support all areas in the achievement of their financial and operational targets
  • Builds a cooperative team spirit by demonstrating best practices, including listening, providing positive and constructive feedback and timely follow up.
  • Achieves maximum guest and colleague satisfaction while adhering to established Company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule the colleagues within budgeted guidelines and provides best coverage for service demands. In periods of low occupancy, control distribution of rooms to maximize Housekeeping efficiency.
  • Recruits, interviews, and selects new colleagues.
  • Observe and coach colleagues to consistently deliver Service Standards and opportunities to create memorable experiences.
  • Proactive in Revenue meetings to maximize revenues and Guest Services on Sell-Out nights. Participates at Revelations meetings.
  • Attends Pre-Conference Meetings and ensures all details are communicated and attended to.
  • Liaise with VIP parties and special attention guests, ensuring the accommodation is in order, inspecting where necessary. Greet, escort and contacts VIPS when possible, upon arrival.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining manuals, which make available updated material relevant to safety procedures, hours of operation, promotions, guest service requirements etc.
  • Conduct daily Arrivals Meeting with the front office and Front office and Housekeeping teams.
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings for all areas of responsibility, complete with minutes.
  • Design, implement, and follow up on staff incentive programs for guest service, quality and maximum revenue levels.
  • Complete new hire and annual performance appraisals.
  • Track and address all guest comments and concerns
  • Tour resort daily; audit staff adherence to resort policies and procedures in all phases of service and job functions; follow up with designated personnel where needed
  • Conduct monthly mystery quality audits and report back to the Beach Club Manager.
  • Observe guest reactions and confer frequently with staff to ensure guest needs are met
  • Control all purchases for the department, consistently aware of quality and cost
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual strategic plan and achieve the goals and targets therein
  • Ensure effective and proactive yield management, increasing RevPAR index within the competitive set (once specified)
  • Oversee group business, reviewing and ensuring details of group resumes are met
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Oversee the selection, training and development of all colleagues to ensure timely recruitment and career growth is aligned.
  • Follow all safety policies
  • To ensure the proper use of PPE while working and to adhere to the resort’s policy of safety and hygiene protocol

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
