Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive first impression
• Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking platforms, coordinating seating efficiently
• Operate POS systems such as Toast for order processing, payments, and cash handling
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Support food safety and sanitation standards in food preparation areas and during service
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster guest relations to promote repeat visits

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest relations within a hospitality setting
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
• Prior host/hostess or front-of-house experience in fine dining or nightlife venues is advantageous
