Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to coordinate the timely and safe delivery of fuel shipments. In this vital role, you will manage dispatch operations, optimize transportation routes, and communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients to ensure seamless fuel distribution. Your proactive approach will help maintain operational efficiency and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule fuel deliveries using transportation management systems such as Creative Energy.
• Monitor fleet movements via GPS and GIS tools to ensure accurate tracking and timely deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and vendors through multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Utilize data entry skills for accurate dispatch records, shipping & receiving documentation, and freight management. Must also have knowledge of Quick Books.
• Analyze transportation data to optimize routes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs within supply chain operations.
• Oversee shipping schedules, freight coordination, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, vehicle status updates, and incident reports for operational transparency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with transportation in the fuel industry
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GPS data, GIS mapping, and logistics reports.
• Familiarity with freight shipping & receiving processes, fleet management, and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in data entry using AS400 or similar platforms; typing speed is essential.
• Knowledge of transportation planning principles within supply chain environments.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
