We have a well-established accounting firm located in Hurst, TX, and are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with a deep understanding of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office modules (Excel, Word, Outlook), payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of bookkeeping

Payroll processing through QuickBooks including making tax deposits

Quarterly/year-end payroll reporting including processing W-2s

Prepare and submit sales tax reports to the State of Texas

Process 1099 Forms accurately for year-end reporting.

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Record journal entries

Assist in other accounting-related tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or similar role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office modules (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.

Expertise in payroll processing, tax compliance, and preparation of payroll-related reports.

Thorough understanding of 1099 Forms, W-9 forms, and proper mapping of accounts for accurate reporting.

Strong knowledge of debits and credits, general ledger transactions, and financial statement preparation.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and

team members.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
