Full Stack Developer

We're Hiring: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (On-site, Islamabad)

Location: Islamabad | Full-Time | Ride-Hailing Domain

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the development of our mobile-first dispatch and real-time mobility platform.

You’ll own everything from frontend app performance to backend systems powering dynamic fare logic, driver-rider matching, and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and optimize a high-performance React Native app
• Integrate native modules in Swift/Kotlin when needed
• Own the Node.js backend, using PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS
• Implement geolocation logic, route matching, and Firebase integrations
• Collaborate closely with ops and design to drive rapid releases
• Ensure reliability, performance, and data security across systems

Mobile App development

• Develop and maintain cross-platform apps using React Native (essential).
• Experience with native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) for occasional native integrations.
• Implement real-time map visualisation and GPS tracking (Google Maps SDK, Mapbox, etc.).
• Integrate Firebase services (push notifications, analytics, messaging).

Backend & Infrastructure

• Maintain and scale backend services in Node.js, designed around microservices or monolithic APIs as needed.
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and Redis for scalable and low-latency systems.
• Integrate geolocation APIs and build efficient trip-matching/fare-estimation logic.
• Ensure security protocols like OAuth2, JWT, and TLS encryption are correctly implemented.

Cloud & DevOps

• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Handle load balancing using Nginx or AWS tools (ALB).
• Secure asset management via Amazon S3 and Cloudflare.
• Implement fraud prevention and anomaly detection logic.

• React Native (mandatory)
• Node.js
• PostgreSQL and Redis
• AWS cloud services
• Solid understanding of geolocation-based real-time apps.
• Familiarity with native app development (Kotlin or Swift) is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on with mobile SDKs, APIs, notifications, analytics
• Previous work on a mobility, logistics, or delivery platform is a big plus
• On-site presence in Islamabad (no remote/hybrid)
