Full Stack Engineer II

About the Role:

You will be implementing quality code to meet functional and non-functional requirements that will pass through different stage gates to ensure quality matrix and code coverage in CI/CD.

What will be your responsibilities?

We are looking for experienced professionals with a passion for excellence to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems with adaptation to technology changes. You will drive the software change and release management processes, assisting with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. You will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

Education & Professional Qualification: B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field.

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on backend development using any popular framework, but having knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, ExpressJS, NestJS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of REST Web Services/ APIs.
• Strong Database Knowledge, SQL, and Query optimization.
• Knowledge of any ORM Framework.
• Good experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with source control (GIT) and CI/CD, for example, Jenkins.
• Experience with unit testing - Mocha or Jest framework.
• Good expertise in writing scalable and optimized code.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks - ReactJS, Angular.
• Interest in front-end UX development.
• Demonstrable understanding of good architectural design principles.
• Interest in tooling and automation, exposure to Scrum/Agile environment.

Soft skills

• Good communication skills.
• A team player with experience in working in international teams (incl. cultural awareness, virtual/remote working). Is outspoken and build fast interpersonal relationships.
• A self-starter with minimal supervision required.
• Quality awareness, self-motivated and problem-solving skills.
