Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Role Summary:
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for driving the organization’s fundraising initiatives through individual contributions, corporate partnerships, grants, and events. This position plays a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of the organization’s programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy: Plan annual strategies, identify donors, and meet revenue targets.
- Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with donors and partners.
- Grants & Proposals: Research funding and write grant proposals on time.
- Events & Campaigns: Organize fundraising events and support promotions.
- Team Coordination: Support staff/volunteers and align with departments.
- Reporting: Track performance and maintain donor records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in proposal writing
- Proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management systems
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience in the nonprofit/NGO sector, particularly in health or women’s empowerment
- Familiarity with CSR programs and international donors
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach
