Job Opportunity: General Manager – Production (Knitwear Industry)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Production to lead and oversee all aspects of production operations within our knitwear manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process from planning to final shipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement production strategies to meet organizational goals and client requirements.
• Supervise department heads including knitting, dyeing, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing units.
• Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, design, and quality assurance teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Manage manpower, machine maintenance schedules, and resource allocation effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of education with a degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or MBA (Production/Operations).
• 10+ years of experience in knitwear or textile production management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of knitwear manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
